I am a visual artist based on Treaty 1 Territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Using painting and digitally altered photographs, they explore their recurring interest in fabric folds and textiles. Texture, pattern, and hands-on processes play a crucial role in my practice, which has manifested through experiments using paint and naive digital editing tools to capture, emphasize, and deteriorate images. I use stripes and lines as a point of contemplation for repetition, tactility, and domestic comfort.

Hanna holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (HON.) from the University of Manitoba’s School of Art. Their work has been exhibited in notable galleries such as Confederation Centre for the Arts (Charlottetown, PEI), PLATFORM Centre (Winnipeg, MB), and the Manitoba Craft Council (Winnipeg, MB). Reimer’s mural work is also prevalent in their hometown of Winnipeg, with large-scale artworks both temporarily and permanently on display at The Forks, in the Exchange District, and in West Broadway. Their largest mural to date is in the Beltline district of Calgary, Alberta. Through these experiences, they have channeled their interest in large-scale work into working in theatre and film set design.
